If you’ve been anywhere near Atlanta’s entrepreneurial scene, chances are you’ve heard the buzz around London King—and for good reason. The hospitality expert, businesswoman, and founder of Mimosas and Business has made it her mission to help women step into alignment, tap into their purpose, and walk out of her events transformed, not just inspired!

King tells BrownStyle Magazine that it didn’t all start with a glam stage or a packed ballroom. “It started with the Mimosas and Business podcast,” King explains. “I opened my home and started interviewing boss women from all walks of life.”

That homegrown passion quickly built momentum, landing features on Apple Podcasts and Spotify long before video podcasts were the trend. From there, she launched a line of affirmation books and journals that she used to manifest her dreams, and soon, her first live event was born.

A Toast To Growth & Success

Eighty-five guests showed up for that initial Atlanta event, and the energy in the room confirmed she was walking in purpose. “From that moment on, I haven’t looked back,” King says. “It’s been up ever since, and I do not plan on letting up.”

What sets King apart is her commitment to real transformation. Her events don’t traffic in fluff or feel-good-only messaging. “I tell women what they need to hear, not just what they want to hear. That’s the easy route,” she explains. “It’s like a Big Sis giving her Lil Sis the real game with love and honesty.”

That tough-love mentorship is rooted in King’s own story. Growing up in St. Louis, she says, “I saw mental and spiritual chains holding people back, and I wanted to break free. I used to feel like I had something to prove—but now, I move from a place of obedience and healing.”

These days, she’s aligned with her calling, and it shows.

King also knows how to set the vibe. Her signature all-pink aesthetic is more than a branding choice, it’s a declaration. “Pink symbolizes power, success, and everything I ever prayed for,” she explains. “When I walk into a room filled with women all dressed in pink, it’s surreal. It’s a reminder that anything is possible with faith and hard work.”

King believes in confidence and collaboration, which is why she intentionally creates spaces where both bloom. “When you love on yourself and are confident about who you are, you can collaborate from a different energy, without comparison or competition.”

And that energy is contagious. Her events aren’t just networking mixers, they’re launchpads for success. “The most beautiful thing I’ve witnessed is women finding their next investor, their business bestie, or their future collaborator—all in one room.”

✨ My Vibe With London King ✨
The most powerful thing a woman can do is… “put God first and trust He’ll make a way.”
My favorite way to celebrate a win is to… “eat first—LOL! Then thank everyone who supported me and share it to inspire others.”
I feel most confident when… “I’m looking my best and just got my hair done!”
The song that gets me in CEO mode is… “Relentless by MoneyBagg Yo.”

Pink Power And Partnership

King is on the move and shows no signs of slowing down. The Mimosas and Business podcast is coming back with a national tour and will feature co-host Jessica Pitre. “We want girl bosses, creators, and professionals everywhere to experience the vibe,” King explains about her goal to provide empowerment and elevation to cities across the country.

When asked what keeps her grounded, King doesn’t hesitate. “Time with God is my top priority. If I don’t put God and myself first, everything else starts to slip. But right now, my cup isn’t just pouring—it’s overflowing.”

That overflowing energy is exactly what makes her partnership with BrownStyle Magazine feel like a perfect match. “BrownStyle represents women who want stories that speak to their mind, body, and soul—and not only is that your mission, but it’s ours too,” she says. “It’s a hot connection. Okkkk!”

BrownStyle Magazine is excited to be media sponsors for Mimosas & Business 2025, which will take place on May 18th in Atlanta, Georgia! Be sure to get your tickets because it’s something you don’t want to miss!
