“God, thank you for putting me in places where there’s nothing but positive energy,” LaTavia said to me as The RESET: Tampa came to a close. And in many ways, her words captured the heart of the evening I designed to invite women to answer one powerful question: what are you resetting from?
Produced by PRIMP Agency with official media partnership support from BrownStyle Magazine, the intimate event held at Our Own Vibe 2 in historic Ybor City created space for women to reflect, release, and step boldly into whatever comes next.

One of the night’s most memorable moments happened during a surprise audience runway walk-off, where women from multiple generations were encouraged to take the stage and own their RESET moment. LaTavia stepped forward.
She later shared with the audience that she had never been comfortable standing in front of people, let alone walking a runway in front of strangers. However, something shifted that night. When asked what she was resetting from, she answered without hesitation, “Ending a 15-year relationship that was no longer serving me.”

The room erupted. A collective “GIRL!” echoed throughout the venue before turning into applause, laughter, and understanding. Women connected over a truth many know deeply—sometimes growth requires leaving behind what feels familiar.
That spirit of honesty continued throughout the evening. Women shared stories of resetting after homelessness, rebuilding boundaries, navigating alopecia, overcoming abuse, and learning to stop placing everyone else’s needs before their own.
What made those conversations even more powerful was who was having them: executives, entrepreneurs, entertainers, mothers, athletes, and business owners. It wasn’t about status or credentials, it was about living in your truth and strutting into the next chapter of your life with confidence and style.
The evening naturally aligned with the “soft life” philosophy championed by BrownStyle Magazine—one centered on self-care, opulence, unity, and love.
If The RESET: Tampa proved anything, it’s that women are craving spaces where vulnerability is welcomed, reinvention is celebrated, and starting over is viewed as courage rather than failure. We deserve safe spaces to connect and grow.
As you continue your life’s journey, I encourage you to never feel bad if you need to RESET. It’s natural. And in many cases, needed.
