Although Summer isn’t nearly over, we’re calling it now. Culture Fest Philly 2025 was hands down one of the top five events of the season!
Hosted at Liberty Point, an open-air venue on the Philadelphia waterfront, this cultural celebration felt like the ultimate family cookout— complete with good vibes, the best music, fabulous fashion, and unforgettable moments.

If you check our Instagram, you’ll see that we’ve been to plenty of events, but the minute we were greeted by friendly security (yes, that’s a thing now), we knew this was different. From there, it was nothing but smiles, music, and fun across three levels of bars, event spaces, and riverfront views.
So, what was happening? Everything! Attendees enjoyed everything from a jump rope contest to dance challenges curated by DJs who didn’t miss. Other highlights included a Black-owned vendor space, a fashion show where attendees could walk the runway, and a waterfront Afro Beats and Caribbean zone that gave main event energy.

There was even food… somewhere. But we were too busy dancing, shopping, laughing, and meeting incredible people to sit down and eat. (We’ll catch it next time, we promise.)
And while the event was a full-on celebration, it was also a moment of community.

“It’s just what the city needs,” said Sunny Blount, CEO of Kabila Events. “With all that’s been going on, I wanted people to remember this is still the City of Brotherly Love and Sisterly Affection—and yes, we know how to party!”
Our Top 5 Reasons Why You Need To Attend Culture Fest Philly 2026

✨ The Location: The outdoor location was phenomenal. Watching boats float by and jet-skis race across the water as we danced on the deck was the perfect Summer vibe.
✨ Inclusive Experiences: There was something for everyone! From bounce houses to a jump rope competition, there was fun at every turn.
✨ Interactive Fun: The crowd didn’t just show up, they showed out! Participation was encouraged and celebrated. This included the fashion, which was western themed this year.
✨ DJs Who Delivered: The music kept us dancing all day long. [Pro tip: bring a pair of flats, you’ll thank us later.]
✨ The People: There’s nothing like connecting with beautiful souls and building bonds that just might last a lifetime.
Overall, we’re calling it the best family-reunion-style event of the Summer, and we can’t wait to do it all again in 2026.
