Starting this October, Aikisha will get candid about navigating life with readers of her monthly column, Let’s Talk About It.

A native of Jackson, Mississippi, Aikisha is an HBCU graduate, Founder and CEO of Holly Colon Development Group, co-owner of Bricks & Hops Beer Garden, and a former cast member of Belle Collective on the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN). With grace and grit, she balances family, faith, and entrepreneurship—always with a heart for uplifting others and creating lasting impact.
Staying true to BrownStyle Magazine’s mission of helping women unlock their Soulful Soft Life, Aikisha’s Let’s Talk About It column promises to create a safe space to discuss a wide range of topics, from faith and building generational wealth to fitness and navigating perimenopause. “This space is about us. It’s about laughing together, crying together, and most of all, growing together,” the columnist explains.
