If there’s one thing we love at BrownStyle Magazine, it’s a room filled with women who are unapologetically walking in their calling, and the 2026 Dream Chaser Brunch was the place to be for beautiful sisterly vibes.
Hosted by Smooches Woman Magazine— a platform created by the lovely Chante Bradley dedicated to celebrating curvy, confident, and beautiful women— the Dream Chaser Awards Brunch was a true reflection of its mission to uplift women through conversation and connection.
“We are reminding women that their dreams are valid, their journeys matter, and their impact is powerful,” Bradley shared with us about the inspiration behind the event held during Women’s History Month. “We are building a legacy of bold, beautiful women who are not afraid to take up space and chase everything meant for them.”
The lineup of women being honored for their impact, resilience, and commitment was amazing. One of the standout moments of the afternoon was celebrating Leadership & Organizational Development Strategist Obioma Martin, named the Top Dream Chaser and Spring 2026 cover star for Smooches Woman Magazine.
Guiding the afternoon smoothly, with love and fun vibes, was host Michelle Snow, who left every woman in attendance feeling seen.
After enjoying a tasty brunch, attendees were introduced to the honorees, which included our very own Editor-in-Chief Tweety Elitou, who was honored as one of the 2026 Dream Chaser Award recipients and received a two-page spread within the magazine.
“I am so thankful to Chante Bradley for this honor. BrownStyle Magazine was created as a safe space for women to live their Soulful Soft Life. […] It’s a movement, and I couldn’t do this without the BrownStyle Team and our loyal supporters (BrownStyle Besties✨🤎). It was truly an honor to be recognized by so many amazing women,” Tweety shared in her heartwarming acceptance speech, noting she finds joy in storytelling, community, and creating space for women to shine.
Other well-deserving honorees included Candice Ray, Damaris Alvarado-Rodriguez, Erica D. Montgomery, JAcinth Headlam, Jai Crabbe-Gorrell, Jessica Christian Dixon, Karettia Gray, Kellie Miles, and Valerie Hamilton. Seeing each Dream Chaser recognized and learning their stories was truly inspiring!
What made this brunch truly special was the sisterhood. Every woman in that room is building something meaningful, and the event created space for collaboration and community. We need that more than ever.
And to the women who are chasing their dreams, keep going! Dreaming boldly, walking confidently, and celebrating every step of the journey because the sky is the limit. We’ve got this.
