Some fashion shows debut a new collection. Others leave a lasting impression. For Cierra Jaye’— the founder and creative director of THRILLA SEVEN— it is important that her upcoming runway show does both.
“Fifteen years is a lot of time to appreciate in one night,” Jaye’ shares with BrownStyle Magazine days before the event that will mark the fashion brand’s 15-year anniversary. “The experiences we have in store will allow our audience to fully connect with THRILLA SEVEN’s story and my journey throughout its existence.”
Taking place on Saturday, July 11 at The Grindhouse in Philadelphia, the fashion experience titled FINALLY will blend fashion, music, visual art, and storytelling. Throughout the evening, guests can expect immersive installations, luxury-inspired hospitality, networking opportunities, and a runway presentation featuring THRILLA SEVEN’s newest collection. “This 15-year milestone is more than style and fashion. It’s a collective representation of what it looks like to count yourself in, grab tightly onto a dream, and nurture it to the best of your ability,” the designer shares with enthusiasm.
The Vision
Building a brand for more than a decade has required an unwavering belief in her vision. When asked about the greatest lesson she’s learned as both a designer and entrepreneur, Jaye’ doesn’t hesitate.
“Pivoting propels you. Pride delays you. And procrastination paralyzes you,” she reveals. It’s a powerful reminder for anyone chasing a dream—whether in fashion, business, or any creative pursuit. Sometimes success isn’t about having the perfect plan. It’s about having the courage to evolve.
That mindset has carried THRILLA SEVEN from an ambitious idea to an established independent fashion brand with a loyal following. Looking back, Jaye’ sees the milestone as proof that success isn’t built overnight but through countless small moments of dedication.
“Consistency often looks like the little things that lead up to moments like this,” she says.
No Dream Is Too Big
Jaye’ hopes guests leave feeling encouraged to pursue their own ambitions while reflecting on how far they’ve come.
“I want people to know that no dream is too big,” she says. “Having a vision means embracing life in hindsight, the same way we desire greatness for our futures.”
She also hopes longtime supporters will see pieces of themselves reflected in THRILLA SEVEN’s evolution. “I have an endless amount of support from people from all walks of life who appreciate quality, dignity, integrity, well-thought-out design, confidence, and sensuality,” she notes. “I want them to remember the moment they first discovered us—and maybe even the moment they decided they wanted to embrace our brand.”
Ultimately, Jaye’ hopes the evening sparks something bigger than admiration for beautiful clothing. “I dream that when people are walking to their cars or leaving with their friends, they feel inspired, mesmerized, and connected,” she adds.
What’s Next
As THRILLA SEVEN gets ready to celebrate its first 15 years, Jaye’ is already looking toward the future. Her vision is to continue creating collections that become part of her customers’ everyday lives.
“We’ve tackled so much in 15 years,” she says. “Now it’s about making sure there’s never a season where you lack a new piece of THRILLA SEVEN to enjoy and flaunt.”
If FINALLY is any indication, the next chapter is going to be one for the books. For Philadelphia’s fashion community and beyond, Cierra Jaye’ is proving that the most meaningful milestones aren’t simply measured by time, but defined by the courage to keep believing in a vision, one season at a time.
