From the moment I walked into the Nuudii Collective pop-up in Williamsburg, I felt the vibes. The energy was warm, the smiles were real, and yes, they had complimentary drinks. (Spiked and regular — because balance, right?)

The space was tiny but mighty, just like me! Every inch was thoughtfully curated: racks of bodywear, shapewear, and loungewear in rich neutrals and sleek black. The setup gave soft luxury meets laid-back confidence. Everything felt intentional, simple but full of soul.

Ahead, learn about my experience at the pop-up and what I discovered about Nuudii System — a brand that’s saying goodbye to subpar fits, hardware that digs into your skin, and the restrictions of traditional bras.

The Inspiration Behind Nuudii

When I introduced myself as part of the BrownStyle Magazine family, the team made me feel even more at home. The founder’s daughter personally helped me find my size and gifted me a limited-edition boobwear and panty set tucked inside a cute boob-inspired tote bag.

Then came my favorite part, meeting Annette Azan, the woman behind Nuudii System, the option between bra and braless. In just a few minutes of conversation, I was impressed to learn that Azan is a marketing and retail powerhouse turned innovator who’s rewriting what it means to feel supported and free in your own skin.

Her first design? A halter-style bra she could dance in all night with no push-up, no squeeze, and no tugging. Just freedom. That moment of liberation sparked a whole movement.

“Nuudii was created for my wedding dress, which was sheer and skin-bearing,” Azan shares with us about the inspiration behind her brand. “I realized how few [undergarment] options existed that didn’t feel restrictive or uncomfortable. Designers create clothes for bras.”

Eager to help other women, Azan used over 25+ years of her experience working in the fashion industry to launch Nuudii.

A Brand With A Heart

Nuudii’s pieces are built for real women with real lives and can be worn up to twelve different ways— strapless, backless, deep V, dropless. Whatever your outfit calls for, Nuudii delivers.

Azan put it best when she said, “We’re not selling women on their vulnerabilities, we’re lifting them.”

How often do we see brands selling us perfection we never asked for? Nuudii’s approach felt honest, inclusive, and refreshing. It reminded me that beauty is about feeling good in your own skin.

Besides the brand’s messaging, I also loved to learn that Nuudii is a family affair. The founder’s two daughters are right beside her, creating content, managing social, and modeling the looks. Watching them shine together was so heartwarming. You could literally feel the legacy and the representation flowing through every piece.

My Personal Review Of Nuudii

Before I left, I took a few flicks with the art installations. Each piece reflected the same duality as the brand: soft yet strong, bold yet effortlessly feminine.

And when I finally got home and tried on my new set? Baby. The comfort was next level. The material felt silky but supportive. It was that rare combo of “I can breathe again” and “Wow, I actually look good.”

It even smoothed over my nipple texture, which was an unexpected bonus!

This pop-up was a wonderful experience that celebrated body freedom, femininity, and family— three things BrownStyle holds near and dear. I left feeling inspired and a little more in love with the woman I’m becoming, one comfy, confident bra at a time.
