Have you ever longed for a safe space where Women of Color in cannabis, wellness, and business could gather, share strategy, pour into each other, and rest without guilt? Then let us tell you about HIGHER Conference.

This past June, BrownStyle Magazine proudly served as a media sponsor for the third annual HIGHER Conference in Philadelphia.

The brainchild of Sheena Roberson, founder of Cannabis Noire, HIGHER is unlike any other cannabis or business conference you’ve attended.

“This year wasn’t about getting bigger. It was about getting sharper,” says Roberson. “We brought softness and strategy. We called the industry out and called our people in. This is the future of cannabis rooted radically, for and by us.”

Over three days, attendees took notes and made moves— from seasoned entrepreneur to newcomers to the cannabis space. Even those who were simply craving a community, were invited to connect with fellow Cannabis creators.

Ahead, learn why you should be putting the conference on your calendar for next year.

Here’s Why You Need To Be There In 2026

According to Roberson, next year’s HIGHER Conference will be more intentional than ever. “HIGHER 2026 is going to be deeper, softer, and louder all at once,” Roberson shares with excitement. “We’re creating a space where you don’t just attend, you transform.”

✨ Real Conversations, Not Buzzwords

From sessions on capital to workshops on tech, agriculture, and real estate, HIGHER 2025 offered unfiltered, meaningful dialogue. Next year, expect the same!

✨ Healing As Infrastructure

The Wellness Pavilion, led by Sacred House founder Morgan Dominique, provided sound baths, plant medicine conversations, and deep dialogue on neurodivergence and perimenopause. The blend of wellness into the conference created a space of joy and healing.

✨ The Mocktail Bar & Nighttime Vibes

The HIGHER mocktail bar (featuring collabs like Gem Life and Whoop Tea) had the whole room buzzing without the buzz. And the Higher Crawl, a curated citywide experience, turned Philly into an after-hours playground of culture and connection. This is the kind of vibe you want at an event.

✨ Community Over Everything

HIGHER ensures that it doesn’t just celebrate Women of Color, it invests in them. This made for both a relaxing, motivational, and educational space.

Overall, if you’re looking for a space that sees you fully and reminds you that the future is ours to shape, start planning now!

Whether you’re launching a product, exploring the cannabis industry, or simply ready to pour into yourself, HIGHER is a great addition to your 2026 calendar.
