Living a Soulful Soft Life ™ in a chaotic society can be challenging, especially for women. It can be exhausting continuously pouring into everything and everyone else and never having a moment to pour into yourself. As of recent, more women are boldly choosing to start over with no regrets because sometimes a reset is necessary.
Shá Summerlin knows the importance of resetting all too well. “I moved to Tampa with my entire home in a U-Haul. A new city, a new opportunity, and a new life were waiting for me. Within a few weeks, the apartment fell through, and the position did too,” Summerlin tells BrownStyle Magazine exclusively.
She pauses in reflection—not just of what was lost, but what was revealed. “I’m not going to lie, that season shook me,” she continues. “It was scary. It was humbling. But it also forced me to look at myself differently. I had to ask, ‘Now what?’”
What came next was a perspective shift. She began to meet women who were CEOs, creatives, single mothers, and women rebuilding after divorce, and soon realized she wasn’t alone. “Everybody was going through something. Everybody was trying to find their way back to themselves. And I just kept saying, ‘We need a reset,’” the founder of PRIMP Agency shares.
And from that moment of vulnerability, The RESET: Tampa was born.

What Is The RESET: Tampa?
The RESET is an elevated runway show that encourages sisterhood and honors women to keep strutting with confidence and style.
“Style is my superpower,” Summerlin reveals, noting the event will be filled with music and stylish looks. “It’s how we express who we are without saying a word. And when a woman feels good in what she’s wearing? It changes her posture, her mindset, and her confidence.”
Taking place during Women’s History Month, The RESET is a reflection and a release. “I want women to leave with a renewed sense of self-worth,” Summerlin tells us. “Like, whatever they’ve been holding back on? Go after it. Whatever they’ve been doubting? Let it go.”
Pouring Into Attendees With Intention
After connecting with local organizations supporting women in transition, Summerlin knew the experience had to extend beyond the moment.
“You never know what someone is going through when they walk into a room. So, if I can provide resources, whether it’s homebuying information, essentials, or support, that matters to me,” she explains, adding the event will have these helpful resources.
Summerlin says that a reset isn’t about perfection but the intention. “In this season, I just want to feel stable, fulfilled, and aligned,” the 51-year-old shares, noting attendees share the same sentiments. “I want to thrive, not just survive. Financially, spiritually, physically…all of it.”
